We cruised aboard the Rockland, Maine based windjammer, American Eagle, during the first week of July, 2022, which also happened to be race week.

The race, North America’s largest annual gathering of tall ships, includes Maine Windjammer Association vessels and a few visiting traditional sailing vessels racing for the coveted Cutty Sark trophy.

Windjammers anchored near Brooklin, Maine *Drone Video*

The schooner J&E Riggin was hauled out at the North End Shipyard in Rockland, Maine on April 9th, 2023. This was for their annual maintenance, repairs, and inspection; performed just before the start of the Windjammer cruise season. This 2 minute clip shows the schooner settling into the cradle, which is used to haul the boat out of the water.
